Milwaukee Art Museum,
Volunteer and Docent.
2008 - present.
Commuted to Milwaukee 2-3 times/week to attend
docent training, led by renowned museum
educator, Barbara Brown Lee. Training included
study of art historic scholarship on the museum
collection. We emphasized presenting art works
and elements of art, in an engaging manner for a
wide range of audiences. School programs include
grade school through high school classes.
Weekend and event tours, which are my specialty,
most often focus on exhibitions, collection
highlights or introducing Santiago Calatrava’s
first North American structure.
